Welcome to Lakeland

Lakeland School is 20 years old and we are still going strong with our mission of training young minds. Over the years, we have seen the children of Lakeland School grow up to be responsible and successful men and women, both within and outside the shores of Nigeria. This makes all of us in Lakeland School proud and aspire us even more to fulfill our goal.

With great joy we opened the doors of Lakeland School Abuja in September 2017 and it has been a wonderful rollercoaster which has made us more appreciative of the blessings of God. At Lakeland School, (and I mean both schools) we believe, according to the words of Chuck Grassley, that, “What makes a child gifted and talented may not always be good grades in school, but a different way of looking at the world and learning.” Therefore, we educate both the intellect and the mind, so that our children not only grow to be academically sound, but also morally and socially sound.

It has been a wonderful session, though challenging due to the Covid – 19 pandemic. I offer a big thank you to our wonderful management team and our dedicated staff members, both teaching and non-teaching. We also appreciate our ever-supportive parents, who are an integral part of the building process. You have been amazingly supportive. Let us all continue to put our hands-on deck because, “Together Everyone Achieves More” (TEAM).

As we partner together, let us remember that, “Children want the same things we want, to laugh, to be challenged, to be entertained and delighted.” – Dr Seuss

It is our earnest prayer and faith in God that our prayer and efforts will not be in vain. We will look back tomorrow and have a thousand and one reasons to thank God.

I wish you a fruitful and pleasure-filled summer holiday. See you in September for the 2019/2020 session by the special grace of God. Amen.
